This film provides an in-depth exploration of the extensive adaptation's production process, introducing viewers to the main cast and showcasing the meticulous work involved in creating sets, practical effects, costumes, and props. Particular emphasis is placed on the challenging casting process, which saw approximately 32,000 young actors auditioning for the key roles.
The special features both the young lead actors – Dominic McLaughlin (Harry Potter), Arabella Stanton (Hermione Granger), and Alastair Stout (Ron Weasley) – as well as seasoned performers like John Lithgow (Albus Dumbledore), Janet McTeer (Minerva McGonagall), and Paapa Essiedu (Severus Snape).
