Techland continues to demonstrate its commitment to the original Dying Light, even years after its initial launch.

In March 2026, the developer will revisit the first Dying Light to roll out a minor yet significant update.

This upcoming Hotfix 1.55 is specifically designed to correct a persistent issue within the Dying Light: The Following expansion. Previously, players loading a saved game might unexpectedly find themselves spawned in the Slums area, which was not the intended location.

While appreciating these crucial technical patches, some players have also voiced their hopes for future updates that might include graphical enhancements in addition to bug fixes.
