Battlestate Games addressed player feedback concerning the "Tour" questline and other challenging tasks in their latest update.

Developers of Escape from Tarkov have rolled out update 1.0.4.0, introducing a range of technical enhancements and new content to the game.

Owners of the Edge of Darkness edition, and those who upgraded from EoD to The Unheard Edition, will now receive unique customization sets for both USEC and BEAR factions.

Additionally, new USEC "ScavTac" and BEAR "Three Stripes" customization sets are now available for purchase.

Key changes and improvements include:

  • Further reductions in online raid loading times.
  • Increased completion zones for quests requiring target elimination in specific areas, making them easier to complete.
  • Adjusted built-in armor protection zones for certain body armor and armored rigs.
  • Resolved issues causing BTR driver quest progression to reset in some cases.
  • Significantly simplified completion conditions for PMC operational tasks.
  • Reduced the duration of most Hideout productions required for completing story quests by 40%.
  • Additional objectives have been added to the "Tour" story chapter to simplify location unlocking. Players can now complete multiple visits to a location as an alternative to a single survival task.
  • Figurines and posters previously available as rewards during the Release Twitch Drops Event can now be found as in-game spawns on various locations.
  • Extended the time window during which the transition from Shoreline to Terminal is available.
  • Improved speed and fluidity of main menu tabs and trader dialogue loading.
  • Introduced the option to play as a Scav in a solo PVE Zone on the player's local machine, aiming to reduce raid matchmaking times.
