GameMT Unveils E5 MODX: A Portable Device with Detachable Modular Screen
GameMT is set to launch the E5 MODX, a new portable device that promises to revolutionize mobile gaming with its unique detachable modular display and MediaTek Helio P60 chipset.
Known for delighting retro gaming enthusiasts with its innovative designs, GameMT has once again introduced a standout device: the E5 MODX console. This highly modified version builds upon the original E5 model, which was released in 2024.
A key feature of the E5 MODX is its removable modular display, boasting a resolution of 1024x768. This screen can be swapped out for a MagSafe connector, enabling users to wirelessly link modern smartphones to the console's controller via Bluetooth.
Under the hood, the device is powered by the MTK6771 Helio P60 chipset, complemented by 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The display attaches magnetically and detaches with a special mechanism, facilitating the connection of various other accessories.
Details regarding the display's connection remain unclear; it is yet to be confirmed whether it relies solely on Bluetooth or if a physical connection to the controller is also possible. Information on pre-order availability and the official release date is also pending.
