Grave Seasons: Farm Sim, Horror & Murder Mystery Gets Release Date
During a recent Microsoft presentation, there was also room for independent projects among the announcements. One notable new title unveiled was Grave Seasons, an unusual hybrid combining a farm simulator, a narrative adventure, and elements of horror.
The developers have officially confirmed that Grave Seasons is scheduled for release in Summer 2026.
The game's events unfold in Ashenridge – an outwardly idyllic town where, however, unsettling events begin to occur. The main character, an escaped convict, attempts to start a new life and integrate into the local community. But his plans are abruptly disrupted by a series of mysterious murders plaguing the settlement. Complicating matters significantly is the fact that these crimes are attributed to an entity possessing supernatural abilities.
Grave Seasons offers players the familiar mechanics of peaceful farm life: cultivating land, building relationships, and even pursuing romantic interests with residents. However, all of this takes place against a backdrop of a growing gloomy atmosphere and the pressing necessity of conducting one's own investigation to uncover the mysterious killer terrorizing Ashenridge. It is this unique blend of tranquility and terror that distinctly sets Grave Seasons apart from other games.
The project will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC platforms.
