Interestingly, following the teaser's publication, some players mistakenly attributed the announcement to the developers of the medieval city-building strategy Manor Lords. This led to a wave of suggestions and ideas for future updates being directed at Unfrozen, despite their studio profile clearly indicating development of a different title.
To clear up the confusion, the developers issued a direct statement:
