Hunter Roulette Exits Steam: Russian Roulette Game with Diverse Characters Fails to Hit Big
Hunter Roulette, a game that reimagined the classic "Russian Roulette" concept, failed to achieve widespread popularity and is now set to be removed from Steam. The project initially launched on PC last summer.
Featuring gameplay akin to Buckshot Roulette, Hunter Roulette aimed to distinguish itself by offering players a wide array of vibrant and diverse characters, including female characters presented in revealing outfits. Despite these unique character designs and a fresh take on the genre, the game did not manage to become a commercial success.
The developers have officially announced the discontinuation of Hunter Roulette's services, stating that the game will be delisted from the Steam store as early as April 7. In their public statement, they conveyed: "It is with great regret that we inform you that due to changes in our development and management strategy, we are discontinuing services for [Hunter Roulette]. We prioritize your privacy. Within 30 days after the game's termination, your personal data will be completely deleted or anonymized in accordance with applicable legal requirements."
Players will still have access to Hunter Roulette's servers until May 20, 2026. Following this date, access to the game will no longer be possible.
