"I Prefer to Remain in the Shadows": Disney Unveils New Teaser for Star Wars: Darth Maul - Shadow of the Sith Series
Disney is building anticipation for its new animated Star Wars project, "Darth Maul - Shadow of the Sith," by releasing a fresh teaser just days before its premiere. The clip highlights dynamic action sequences.
The series plot unfolds after the events of "The Clone Wars." Having lost his influence, Maul endeavors to re-establish his criminal syndicate on a planet untouched by the Empire. There, he encounters the disillusioned Padawan Davan Izara and takes her as an apprentice, pursuing his own objectives.
Sam Witwer once again voices the titular role and contributed to script development to further deepen the character. The cast also features Gideon Adlon, Wagner Moura, Richard Ayoade, and Dennis Haysbert.
The premiere will be exclusively on Disney+. The series will launch with two episodes, followed by new installments released two per week, with the season finale scheduled for May 4th.
Notably, the project was renewed for a second season even before its official release, signaling the studio's strong confidence in its success.
