inZOI Update 0.7.0 Expands Crime Mechanics, Introducing Arrests for Vehicle Theft and More
In late March, the developers of the highly anticipated life simulator inZOI released a significant update, version 0.7.0, bringing numerous gameplay innovations and an expanded crime system reminiscent of elements from both GTA and The Sims.
Enhanced Crime Mechanics
The update introduces a deeper layer of consequences for illicit activities within the game:
- Zoi (characters) can now be arrested for stealing vehicles belonging to other Zoi.
- Stealing crops from other Zoi is now officially considered a crime.
- If a Zoi has a scheduled court trial, they are prevented from leaving their current city.
- The 'Extort' interaction has received adjustments to its potential rewards and overall success rate.
- Conversely, the probability of arrest for minor crimes has been slightly reduced.
Other Key Additions and Improvements
Beyond the new crime system, Update 0.7.0 also introduces a host of other features designed to enrich the inZOI experience:
- Zoi can now make and receive calls from other Zoi, enhancing social interactions.
- A convenient new mini-map feature has been added, aiding navigation.
- A new calendar system has been introduced, featuring 28-day months. These calendars will display important dates, including holidays, birthdays, and estimated delivery dates for pregnant Zoi.
- New social venues include cinemas, allowing Zoi to enjoy movies.
- Flower shops have been added to the game, providing new retail and gift-giving options.
- Public parking lots are now available, improving urban infrastructure.
- Zoi can now use bicycles as a personal means of transport, offering a new way to get around.
- To improve realism and prevent frustration, vehicles now automatically reduce speed to mitigate inevitable collisions.
