1C Game Studios continues to share progress on their upcoming flight simulator, 'Korea. Il-2 Game Series'. Recently, the developers showcased a significantly refined and detailed cockpit for the F-84E Thunderjet fighter.
The creation of each cockpit, like every aircraft in the game, is a complex and multi-stage process. It begins with gathering extensive information, documents, and photographs, then proceeds through countless iterations of modeling, programming, texturing, and in-engine setup, culminating in rigorous testing. The developers note that witnessing these elements gradually "come to life" brings them immense satisfaction, confirming that the time and effort invested are not in vain.
The updated F-84E Thunderjet cockpit is expected to become available for beta testing in the coming weeks. The release of 'Korea. Il-2 Game Series' is scheduled for the second quarter of 2026. Players can already add the game to their Steam wishlist.
