LEGO Opens Pre-Orders for Luigi & Mach 8 Kart Mario Kart Set
Fans of the high-octane Mario Kart racing series can now pre-order a brand new building set from the LEGO Group, with an official release scheduled for April 2026. This extensive set, consisting of 2234 pieces, allows enthusiasts to construct a detailed figure of Luigi and his iconic Mach 8 kart.
The LEGO Group continues to expand its beloved Super Mario universe, officially introducing this new construction set dedicated to the popular Mario Kart series.
The "Luigi and Mach 8" set is currently available for pre-order at a price of $179.99 (approximately 14,259 Russian Rubles).
Upon completion, fans will have a highly detailed model of Mario's brother, featuring a poseable head and arms, perfectly sized to sit behind the wheel of the first-ever large-scale LEGO Mach 8 kart model.
The kart boasts interactive features, including steerable front wheels controlled by the steering wheel. Additionally, rotating the rear wheels activates a dynamic "flame" effect in the exhaust pipe. It can be freely rolled across surfaces or proudly displayed on its dedicated stand.
According to the developers, the "Luigi and Mach 8" set is designed to be an excellent companion to the previously released "LEGO Mario Kart: Mario and Standard Kart" set (sold separately). Combining these sets allows fans to recreate thrilling racing duels between their favorite characters.
Shipment for pre-orders is scheduled to commence on April 1, 2026.
