New Legio Custodes Miniature Sets for Warhammer: The Horus Heresy Coming Soon for Pre-order

Fans of the Legio Custodes and Warhammer: The Horus Heresy will soon have the opportunity to acquire several new miniatures individually. The upcoming releases include a Shield-Captain, Custodian Guards, Venatari, a Contemptor-pattern Dreadnought, a Coronus Grav-Carrier, and a Caladius Annihilator Grav-tank.

Previously, some players have already obtained the 'Legio Custodes Battle Group,' which featured a Shield-Captain, six Custodian Guards, six Sentinel Guards, a Contemptor Dreadnought, and a Caladius Annihilator Grav-tank.

Pre-orders for these individual Custodian units are set to open on April 11, 2026. This includes the Shield-Captain, available with both helmeted and unhelmeted head options, armed with a blade of the Perpetual and a Praesidium Shield.

A set of six Custodian Guards will also be available, featuring 12 helmeted heads and 11 unhelmeted heads. One of these warriors can be equipped with a Magisterium Vexilla (banner).

Players will also be able to purchase a set of six Venatari, armed with Archeotech Kinetic Destroyers, Tarsus Bucklers, and spears.

Sets for the Contemptor Dreadnought, buildable as either an Achillus or Galatus, will be available, alongside the Coronus Grav-Carrier, Caladius Grav-tank, and Caladius Annihilator Grav-tank.

Furthermore, pre-orders will open for the novel 'Zardu Layak: The Crimson Apostle' by Rich McCormick. This book, chronicling the rise of a fanatical Heretic from the Word Bearers Legion, will be available in standard hardcover, eBook, and audiobook formats, as well as an exclusive special edition.

The special edition will be signed by the author, adorned with gold foil on the cover, spine, and page edges, and completed with a dark red ribbon bookmark. All mentioned products are expected to hit store shelves on April 25, 2026.
