New Trailer for Chinese Action Game Tides of Annihilation Showcases Impressive Graphics and Path Tracing
The upcoming fantasy action game Tides of Annihilation, drawing inspiration from Arthurian legends, is currently under development by the Chinese studio Eclipse Glow Games. The game is set in a desolate, ruined London, with a significant emphasis placed on its visual presentation as a core element of the project.
NVIDIA recently presented the game with path tracing enabled. While Tides of Annihilation is also slated for release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, it is highly probable that full ray tracing capabilities will not be extensively available on these console versions. Nevertheless, the developers assure players of a high level of graphical fidelity even without the complete implementation of such advanced features.
Among the game's principal features are large-scale battles against colossal bosses. Following victory over certain adversaries, players will have the opportunity to acquire their unique combat abilities, empowering them to confront even more formidable opponents.
An official release date for the game has not yet been announced.
