A recent trailer showcased a modernized version of the iconic map, "Area 15 - Nvidia Bunker." The remaster boasts cutting-edge features including full path tracing, support for DLSS 4, new physically-based rendering (PBR) materials, integration of the RTX Remix Logic system, and significantly improved Advanced Particle Visual Effects.
The current iteration, Quake III Arena RTX Remix Mod v0.6, is already available on ModDB. The project has transitioned from a "demo" status to "early access," inviting players to experience this graphically overhauled classic.
