Peter Molyneux and his studio 22cans are gearing up for the release of their new game, Masters of Albion, widely considered the spiritual successor to the classic Black & White. Before its official launch, the developers are inviting a limited number of players to participate in exclusive pre-release testing.

To have a chance at joining the beta test, interested individuals must submit an application via the official form. The application period closes on Wednesday, March 25, at 9:00 PM Moscow time. The studio has not yet disclosed how much game content will be available for players to explore during the test.

Masters of Albion offers players a unique experience where they embody a deity managing their own settlement. Beyond fulfilling the needs of their villagers, you'll be tasked with defending them from constant nightly monster attacks. The gameplay promises to be multifaceted: you can take direct control of individual settlers to complete tasks or explore the surrounding lands. In battles against creatures, players can wield powerful divine spells or even possess one of the village's defenders.

Masters of Albion is scheduled for release on April 22, 2026, exclusively on PC.
