Playdigious Showcases Sea of Stars Mobile Gameplay — Best Indie Game of 2023 Arrives Soon
The highly acclaimed Canadian JRPG is set to arrive on iOS and Android in a matter of days.
Publisher Playdigious has released a new gameplay trailer for the upcoming mobile version of Sea of Stars, highlighting its redesigned interface optimized for smartphones. The UI has been streamlined for a more minimalist look, featuring control via a single stick and a dedicated menu button. The full interface, including skills and status information, only appears during battles.
Sea of Stars is a Canadian JRPG developed by Sabotage Studio. The game features a turn-based combat system with timing-based elements, extensive world exploration, engaging puzzles, and a variety of side content, such as fishing and mini-games. The main campaign alone offers over 50 hours of gameplay.
The game earned critical acclaim, winning Best Indie Game of 2023 at both The Game Awards and the Golden Joystick Awards. The mobile version is slated for release on iOS and Android on April 7th. This premium title will be priced at $8.99 and will support touch controls, gamepads, and cloud saves. It also includes Russian localization. The game's pages are already live on the App Store and Google Play.
