Fabrika Igr has announced the Russian release of the horror board game "Deep Regrets," designed for 1–5 players. In this strategic tabletop experience, players embody seasoned fishermen venturing into the depths to catch not only fish but also grotesque creatures, all while risking plunging the world into madness.

Pre-orders for "Deep Regrets" will commence on March 30, 2026. This is a special, limited edition release—not a standard localization—and will be delivered by the publisher complete with a small first expansion. The full set, including the base game and expansion, will be available for 3890 rubles.

Players face difficult choices: continue their perilous fishing expedition, pulling strange and terrifying discoveries from the ocean and deciding whether to consume them, or return to port to sell their catch, purchase upgrades, and influence the spreading madness consuming the world.

The core gameplay revolves around selecting cards from a 3x3 grid, each representing different ocean depths. Players flip cards, attempting to catch revealed prey using dice that refresh at the beginning of each round.

Many fish cards, when revealed, trigger unique effects, such as increasing the level of madness in the game world. This, in turn, devalues common fish but significantly increases the worth of horrific discoveries.

Encountering anything repulsive or maddening grants fishermen "regret" cards. At the end of the game, the player with the most regret cards will suffer significant point penalties.
