RoadCraft: Saber Interactive Unveils Reclaim Expansion with New Maps, Vehicles, and Gameplay Improvements
Developers have unleashed a wealth of new content and additional mechanics for RoadCraft players. Saber Interactive has officially launched the "Reclaim Expansion" for its simulator, bringing fresh challenges and tools.
In an announcement posted on the game's Steam page, the developers shared: "Introducing the Reclaim Expansion, which brings new heavy machinery, destructive missions, and vast maps to explore. Tackle environmental threats and demolish damaged structures."
Players in RoadCraft are invited to discover two new maps: Autumn Collapse and Summer Drought. To navigate and conquer these new environments, a suite of new vehicles has been introduced:
- 5111B Dragline Demolisher (heavy demolition equipment)
- Torque G175 (massive tree feller)
- Derry Longhorn 4520 (heavy search and rescue vehicle)
- Hollander M7 Cable Layer
- Minuteman K370 Explorer (reconnaissance vehicle)
- Wayfarer OFT96 TS D (versatile dump truck)
- Wayfarer OFT96 TS T (crane variant based on the OFT96 platform)
The expansion also introduces several new gameplay features designed to enhance the building and demolition experience:
- Ghost Structures: Players can now preview the final appearance of their constructions before any work begins, aiding in planning.
- Demolishable Buildings: Certain existing structures can now be torn down, allowing players to salvage and repurpose their resources.
- Tree Felling Mechanics: Efficiently clear forests with enhanced tree-felling capabilities, especially with the new Torque G175.
- Observation Towers: Expand your visibility and unlock more regions of the map by activating observation towers.
- Secret Missions: Discover and undertake hidden challenges for unique rewards.
