The Defect from Slay the Spire 2 Gets an Unofficial Statue from Firefly Studio: The Elemental Automaton
Firefly Studio plans to release an unofficial 20-centimeter statue of The Defect, one of the playable characters from the card roguelike Slay the Spire 2, in 2026. This new collectible will feature LED lighting and a uniquely themed platform.
Firefly Studio recently unveiled this new unofficial statue of The Defect from Slay the Spire 2. This LED-illuminated collectible is already available for pre-order in select stores for 112.68 euros (approximately 10,256 rubles), with a strictly limited edition of 188 units.
The statue measures 20 cm in height, 16 cm in width, and 13 cm in depth. Its release is anticipated in the third or fourth quarter of 2026.
The Defect is an ancient combat automaton that gained self-awareness due to a software glitch and constantly modifies itself. As in the first installment of the series, it skillfully utilizes various elemental orbs to deal damage to opponents, restore energy, and enhance its defenses.
For the sequel, the developers have significantly revamped many of his cards and core mechanics, aiming to make the gameplay more versatile and introduce new synergies — for instance, builds centered around status cards.
It's important to note that Firefly Studio, the creators of this unofficial statue, are not affiliated with Mega Crit, the developers of the game. This collectible item is a fan-made and unlicensed product.
