The developers of "Psyhonds," a satirical Russian survival simulator set in a mental institution, encountered difficulties when attempting to release their project on the VK Play platform. Despite thorough preparation, which included a well-designed game page, necessary warnings, and an 18+ age rating, the game was rejected by the domestic service.

The creators noted that VK Play invoked a clause in its agreement that allows the platform not to disclose specific reasons for such a decision, stating:

The game was correctly prepared for placement: with a designed page, necessary warning labels, and an 18+ age rating. Despite this, after revisions, the project was rejected.

Meanwhile, publisher Terrabyte Games successfully launched "Psyhonds" in early access on PC via the international Steam platform, where moderation did not pose similar challenges. The game was developed by Meriteri Games and Terrabyte Games.
