Warframe Receives "Tenebrous" Update, Featuring New Warframe Folly and a New Game Mode
Digital Extremes has launched the "Tenebrous" update for their popular online action game, Warframe. This major content drop introduces the 64th Warframe, Folly, a vibrant character whose abilities revolve around manipulating surreal paints and inks. Described as both playful and melancholic, Folly utilizes her unique artistic talents to empower her squad and control enemy crowds, blending reality with splashes of the surreal. Lore-wise, this talented calligrapher finds herself ensnared within a canvas at a relay, striving to complete a series of unfinished creations.
Accompanying Folly is a brand new game mode titled "Folly's Hunt." Players can access this mode by interacting with an ethereal painting located in the Vesper Relay's main hall. The objective in "Folly's Hunt" is to gather specific paints required to finish a collection of fragmented canvases scattered across the map. This endeavor will challenge players to either evade or confront powerful, ink-shrouded foes and navigate hazardous traps.
Beyond the new Warframe and game mode, the "Tenebrous" update also delivers quality-of-life improvements, with developers having revisited older quests to address various bugs and enhance weaker gameplay segments, ensuring a more polished experience for players.
