Warhammer 40,000: New Vanguard Veteran Miniature from the 'Armageddon' Set Revealed
Fans eagerly awaiting the 11th edition of the Warhammer 40,000 tabletop game can now get a detailed look at the new Vanguard Veteran miniature, part of the upcoming "Armageddon" starter set.
This new Vanguard Veteran model, revealed by Games Workshop, was initially announced during the Adepticon Preview 2026 event. The cinematic trailer for the 11th edition prominently featured a Blood Angels Chaplain leading a squad of Vanguard Veterans into battle. These elite warriors are depicted descending from the heavens like true Angels of Death, bringing the Emperor's wrath upon his foes.
While Vanguard Veterans are familiar to Warhammer 40,000 players, this updated rendition showcases them equipped with the same powerful jump pack as Assault Intercessors. The miniature sports a distinctive golden helmet, a sword, and a plasma pistol. Its armor is further adorned with intricate iconography and a Crux Terminatus, signifying its esteemed status within the Chapter.
Additionally, Games Workshop has confirmed plans to reveal another miniature from the "Armageddon" set on April 13th, with the full release of the starter set anticipated around June 2026.
