HoYoverse has rolled out update 2.7 for Zenless Zone Zero, aptly titled "Champions Never Defeated by the Past," addressing a series of specific issues and introducing fresh content.
A significant highlight of this patch is the rectification of various visual bugs. Notably, the model for the character Sanna has been corrected, ensuring her ears, shoes, and hands are now displayed accurately. Beyond character aesthetics, the update brings a range of enhancements and new additions:
- **New Agents:** Two formidable S-rank agents join the roster: Nangong Yu, an Aether type specializing in Intimidation, and Cixia, an Electro type focused on Attack.
- **PlayStation Trophies:** Dedicated trophy sets have been added for PlayStation 5 and PS5 Pro players, corresponding to the "ZZZ: Champions Never Defeated by the Past" update.
- **UI Optimization:** The personal profile interface has been streamlined, with key buttons such as "Change Avatar," "Change Medals," "Change Card," and "Change Title" now conveniently relocated to the bottom right corner.
- **Audio Fixes:** Issues leading to incorrect music and sound effects in certain scenes have been resolved. Furthermore, inconsistencies between text and voice-overs in various story sequences have been corrected.
- **Improved Voice Acting:** The quality of voice-overs for select story dialogues and combat scenes from previous versions has been enhanced across English, Japanese, and Korean languages.
- **NPC Model Corrections:** Errors affecting the display of certain NPC models have been fixed.
- **Gameplay Mechanic Fixes:** An issue where agents' Decibels were incorrectly consumed after utilizing extra-agent Manato's special assistance in "Hollow Caverna: Matrix Operation" mode has been resolved.
- **Text and Localization Improvements:** Numerous textual errors found in quests, user interfaces, and descriptions have been rectified. Additionally, texts in several languages have been edited and improved, with developers confirming these changes do not alter actual in-game effects or system functionalities.
These comprehensive updates aim to deliver a more polished and enjoyable experience for all Zenless Zone Zero players.
