The journey to obtain the coveted “Collector” (often referred to as “Kappa”) item in Escape from Tarkov is notoriously challenging for many players.
Recently, Battlestate Games head, Nikita Buyanov, shared intriguing statistics regarding the game’s “Prestige” system. This system allows players to voluntarily reset their character’s progress in exchange for unique in-game bonuses.
The data showing the number of players who have achieved each Prestige level is as follows:
- First Prestige — 24,502 players
- Second Prestige — 8,946 players
- Third Prestige — 3,452 players
- Fourth Prestige — 1,730 players
- Fifth Prestige — 1,121 players
- Sixth Prestige — 593 players

Following the release of these statistics, the Escape from Tarkov community reacted strongly. Many fans in the comments urged Buyanov to consider removing the “Kappa” requirement, which refers to the “Collector” quest, from the prerequisites for achieving Prestige.
The “Collector” quest is widely regarded as one of the game’s most difficult, as it only unlocks after completing a significant portion of other tasks, demanding a substantial time investment and mastery of various in-game mechanics.
