Reports suggest that Nintendo is preparing for a substantial increase in the manufacturing of its next-generation console, the Switch 2. The company is said to be aiming for a production volume of 20 million units, marking a notable 20% jump in output.
This ambitious production plan is noteworthy considering Nintendo’s previous forecasts for the current fiscal year. The company had initially anticipated a slight dip in sales for the existing Switch model, projecting a decrease from 16.9 million to 16.5 million units. The decision to ramp up production for the successor console indicates a strong confidence in its market reception.
