At the Sim Racing Expo in Dortmund, Germany, Straight4 Studios and Giants Software revealed significant updates for their racing simulator, Project Motor Racing. The event also marked the first public opportunity to play the game`s multiplayer mode.
A major announcement confirmed the inclusion of the iconic Daytona International Speedway, featuring its renowned road course configuration. This addition expands the game`s launch content to a total of 18 confirmed tracks and 28 unique layouts, promising a diverse racing experience.
The developers also introduced two exciting new vehicle classes: IMSA GTO and 964 Trophy. The IMSA GTO class will launch with four classic cars:
- Roush Mercury Cougar XR-7
- Chevrolet Camaro Z28 IMSA GTO
- Audi 90 Quattro IMSA GTO
- Mazda RX-7
For the 964 Trophy class, players can look forward to driving the Porsche Supercup and the 1990 Porsche Carrera Cup (964).
Beyond the new classes, several notable cars were added to already announced categories. These include the 2023 Toyota GR010 Hybrid and 2023 Acura ARX-06 for the LMDh class, the 2002 Cadillac Northstar LMP-02 for LMP, and the legendary 1989 Mercedes-Benz Sauber C9 for Group C.
Project Motor Racing is set for release on November 25th, available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
