The popular “Sentenced to Be a Hero” (original Japanese title: Yuusha-kei ni Shosu) franchise is officially receiving a new game adaptation.

Kadokawa recently initiated the teaser campaign for the upcoming game, titled “Yuusha-kei ni Shosu Game of the GODDESS” (also known as “Sentenced to Be a Hero Game of the GODDESS”). This title promises to immerse players further into the compelling narrative of the anime series.

Initial revelations have introduced two prominent characters from the game: Xylo Forbarz and Theoretta.

The development of “Yuusha-kei ni Shosu Game of the GODDESS” is being spearheaded by Vic Game Studios. This studio is recognized for its work on other notable projects, including “Black Clover Mobile: The Opening of Fate” and “Limit Zero Breakers.”

For those unfamiliar with the source material, the original anime follows the protagonist, Xylo Forbarz. After committing a grave transgression, he is condemned to join a punitive “hero squad” tasked with battling the formidable army of the Demon King. A unique and harsh aspect of their duty is that fallen “heroes” are repeatedly resurrected, only to be sent back into the relentless fight.
