WWE 2K25 release date for Nintendo Switch 2 announced

WWE 2K25 is set to expand the sports game lineup on the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2, with a release date confirmed for July 23, 2025. All three versions of the game – the Standard Edition, Deadman Edition, and Bloodline Edition – will be available simultaneously and are currently open for pre-orders.

Players who opt for the more expensive Deadman and Bloodline Editions will receive various downloadable content. This includes the recently released Dunk & Destruction Pack, which notably adds NBA stars Shaquille O`Neal, Tyrese Haliburton, and Jalen Brunson as playable characters.

WWE 2K25 features an extensive roster of characters, boasting over 300 wrestlers and special guests. The game includes a single-player story mode and introduces `The Island`, its first-ever PvPvE mode. This new mode moves the action outside the traditional wrestling ring, taking inspiration from NBA 2K`s popular `The City` mode, and allows players to create fully customizable characters.

Additionally, the game`s MyGM mode has been enhanced to support multiplayer gameplay with up to three friends, offering a significantly improved cooperative experience.

WWE 2K25 originally launched on March 14 for other platforms, including PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
