The long-awaited cooperative survival horror mod, Zombie Panic!, originally released for Half-Life in 2004, has finally made its debut on Steam. Two decades after its initial launch, this iconic project has received significant refinements for the modern player.

Zombie Panic! immerses players in a tense confrontation between a group of human survivors and hordes of zombies. The primary objective for survivors is to complete designated tasks or eliminate all infected creatures. A unique feature of the mod is its respawn mechanic: if a player dies, they return to the game as a zombie, joining the hunt for their former allies.

The Steam version includes several important enhancements, such as achievement support, integration with the Steam Workshop for user-generated content, and general technical and graphical improvements designed to update the gameplay experience for the Half-Life 25th-anniversary version.
