Cyberpunk Trading Card Game Kickstarter Soars Past $7 Million

The crowdfunding campaign for the Cyberpunk Trading Card Game is experiencing phenomenal success, having already garnered immense support from fans of the video game Cyberpunk 2077 and the animated series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. The campaign, launched by studio WeirdCo, still has 30 days remaining.

WeirdCo initiated the Kickstarter campaign for their collectible card game on March 17th. In the Cyberpunk Trading Card Game, players will take on contracts, earn Eddies, and leverage iconic characters from the Cyberpunk 2077 role-playing action game and the “Cyberpunk: Edgerunners” series.

The team reached its initial funding goal of $100,000 (approximately 8.25 million rubles) in just five minutes. Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of its backers, the developers have now amassed an astonishing $7,485,445 (over 617 million rubles). This impressive achievement is a testament to WeirdCo’s success.

Within a single day, WeirdCo managed to unlock numerous stretch goals. Backers can look forward to receiving exciting bonuses such as a neoprene playmat, a metallic variant of the female V character card, a foil Jackie Welles card, and other exclusive items.

Currently, various pledge tiers are available for pre-order: a set of two starter decks for $49, a bundle with 36 booster packs for $169, the “Netrunner” starter pack for $349, the “Reputation” pack for $499, the “Padre’s Blessing” pack for $999, and the “Afterlife” pack for $2799. Furthermore, special collector’s sets are also offered, priced at $7999.

All pledged items are anticipated to be delivered to backers between October and December 2026.
