GameMT EX8: Portable Console with Angular Design and MediaTek Helio G99

Retro gaming enthusiasts and casual players alike now have a new option: the GameMT EX8 portable console. This device comes equipped with 6GB of RAM, a sharp 4.8-inch 1080p FHD display, and a robust 5000 mAh battery.

GameMT, known for its previous PSK 5000 (also called EX5) portable console with its unique physical switch, has launched the new EX8, distinguished by its angular design.

The base version of the GameMT EX8 is currently available for $139.99. A model with an additional 64GB of storage can be purchased for $149.99, while the 128GB variant is priced at $164.99. The console is offered in two color options: white and black.

The device features a classic glass front panel, LED-backlit joysticks, and the 4.8-inch FHD display boasts a 1620×1080 resolution with a 3:2 aspect ratio, 60Hz refresh rate, and 520 nits brightness. Powering the console is a MediaTek Helio G99 chip, paired with a Mali‑G57 MC2 GPU, 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage.

Additionally, the GameMT EX8 is equipped with Wi‑Fi (2.4 GHz / 5 GHz), Bluetooth 5.2, dual stereo speakers, and runs on the Android operating system. For sustained performance, it includes a high-speed cooling fan with an enlarged air intake. The console also features a linear vibration motor and a 6‑axis gyroscope for an enhanced gaming experience.

Connectivity options include one USB‑C 4.0 port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a TF card slot that supports the Micro SD 4.0 protocol. The GameMT EX8 weighs approximately 290 grams, making it a highly portable device for gaming on the go.
