On April 2, 2026, Inart will officially open pre-orders for their highly anticipated collectible figure of Gimli the Dwarf, a beloved character from “The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring.” This release features the stout warrior eager to challenge Legolas and aid Frodo in his perilous journey to Mordor.

Inart has previously delighted fans of “The Lord of the Rings” and “The Hobbit” trilogies with impressive figures, including the Nazgûl, Legolas, Gandalf the Grey, Aragorn, and Thorin Oakenshield.

The company recently announced a new treat for Tolkien enthusiasts, unveiling two teaser images that confirm the upcoming release. These images revealed that pre-orders for the new 1/6 scale Gimli figure will commence on April 2, 2026.

While comprehensive details about the collectible are yet to be fully disclosed, the released images offer a glimpse into the expected contents. The set appears to include an intricately engraved helmet, a highly detailed head sculpt featuring Gimli’s signature beard, mustache, long hair, and the unmistakable likeness of actor John Rhys-Davies. Additionally, it will feature an articulated body, multi-layered chainmail armor, and his iconic axes.

Gimli, a proud Dwarf of Durin’s royal line, son of Glóin and nephew of Óin, is known for his strong sense of self-worth and fierce protectiveness of his kin, reacting sharply to any perceived slight against his people. Beneath his often gruff exterior lies a profound loyalty to his friends. His unwavering devotion is evident in his willingness to accompany Aragorn to the Black Gate, facing almost certain death, for the sake of their cause.

Despite his outward roughness, Gimli is capable of deep and nuanced emotions. His profound reverence for Lady Galadriel reveals a poetic and sensitive nature often hidden beneath his formidable armor. He has little patience for riddles or the subtle ambiguities of Elvish speech, preferring to confront challenges directly, with the swing of an axe and honest, face-to-face combat.
