Saber Interactive has released Update 12.2 for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, delivering a range of improvements and bug fixes aimed at enhancing the overall player experience.

The latest patch introduces several balance adjustments to the game’s mechanics. Notably, the “Sniper” class has received a significant change, with its base ability cooldown time reduced from 125 seconds to a more agile 90 seconds.

Beyond gameplay tweaks, the development team has addressed critical technical and visual issues, ensuring a smoother and more stable experience for players. Key fixes include:

  • A significant correction for an error that caused low frame rates and 100% CPU utilization on the Steam Deck, improving performance on the portable device.
  • Resolution of a visual glitch where the blur effect persisted longer than intended after players used a healing item.
  • An important fix for a perk that was incorrectly reducing the damage of the Omnissian Axe instead of providing the intended damage increase.
