SNK Unveils Secret Fighter for Its Flagship Fighting Game, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves

Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves

SNK is continuing its tradition of exciting collaborations by introducing a character few might have expected. Kenshiro, the iconic hero from the Fist of the North Star series, is set to join the roster of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves.

Kenshiro has been officially confirmed as part of the game’s second Season Pass, with an anticipated release in June 2026. While SNK had previously hinted at his appearance, the company has now fully revealed the character in all his glory. This marks another significant video game appearance for the renowned hero, following his prior collaboration with the Yakuza franchise.

The inclusion of a character from Fist of the North Star further underscores the developers’ strong commitment to the project’s crossover nature. Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves has previously featured guest characters from outside the SNK universe, and this latest addition makes the roster even more diverse and audacious. Kenshiro, as a master of Hokuto Shinken, perfectly aligns with the brutal atmosphere of the fighting game and is unlikely to be a delicate combatant. Season Pass #2 promises a systematic expansion of the game, with new characters added monthly, and Kenshiro is expected to be one of the final additions in this cycle.

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
