Sony has clarified its Digital Rights Management (DRM) policy for newly purchased digital games on both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The company has confirmed that the DRM check is required only once after the game has been purchased. This means that once a digital game has been activated on your console for the first time, subsequent DRM checks to access that game will not be necessary.
