Battlefield 6 Update 1.2.2.5 to Eliminate Annoying Scope Obstruction and Matchmaking Bugs

The developers behind Battlefield 6 are continuing their commitment to improving the game experience by announcing the upcoming technical update 1.2.2.5. They have provided an early look at the significant changes and enhancements players can expect.

Among the key fixes, a persistent issue within the player matchmaking system has been resolved. Previously, this bug prevented users from successfully joining their friends’ game sessions via the Steam interface.

Crucially, the development team has addressed and eliminated a long-standing visual bug where a soldier’s hand would occasionally obstruct the view through certain weapon scopes, a problem that often frustrated players.

Furthermore, another bug related to the arbitrary activation of the “night vision device” effect when switching between players in spectator mode has been rectified. The update also includes general improvements designed to boost the overall stability of the game.

Update 1.2.2.5 for Battlefield 6 is scheduled for release on March 31st.
