Remedy Entertainment has rolled out “Open House,” the last significant update for its cooperative shooter, FBC: Firebreak. While new major content additions will cease, the studio assures players that the game’s servers will remain operational, and necessary technical patches will continue to be released to maintain stability.
The developers highlighted that proactive engineering efforts were undertaken to ensure server resilience, designed to handle stable operation even with a potential decrease in player numbers. A key new feature introduced with this update is the Friend’s Pass, a system that allows players to invite friends to join their games without those friends needing to purchase FBC: Firebreak themselves.
Remedy Entertainment underscored the valuable experience gained from FBC: Firebreak. It marks the studio’s inaugural venture into multiplayer online gaming and their first self-published project, providing crucial insights for future developments.
