Following the recent release of a next-generation update for the horror game Hello Neighbor, which brought significant graphical improvements, 60 FPS, and 4K support to console versions, the update has drawn attention from anti-AI activists.
These groups, staunch opponents of the use of artificial intelligence in game development, began to accuse tinyBuild, the publisher behind Hello Neighbor, of utilizing AI tools to implement these enhancements for the game.
Addressing these comments, Alex Nichiporick, CEO of tinyBuild, offered a sarcastic response:
“Is this artificial intelligence in the room with us right now?”
