Unfrozen, the studio behind the upcoming strategy game Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era, recently unveiled a new teaser showcasing an updated model for one of the game’s global map objects, the Windmill.

The developers presented the Windmill with a description highlighting its utility:

Every baker’s favorite spot. Once a week, the first arriving hero receives a small amount of random resources.

Interestingly, following the teaser’s publication, some players mistakenly attributed the announcement to the developers of the medieval city-building strategy Manor Lords. This led to a wave of suggestions and ideas for future updates being directed at Unfrozen, despite their studio profile clearly indicating development of a different title.

To clear up the confusion, the developers issued a direct statement:

Hello! We are developing Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era, not Manor Lords. To be heard, it’s best to contact the official Manor Lords community.

Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era is slated for an Early Access launch in 2026, promising players a new strategic adventure to anticipate.
