Arc Raiders Streamer Takes Legal Action Against ‘Troll’ Killer After In-Game Incident

What started as an in-game prank took an unexpected and serious turn. Streamers NessieDoes and Peach recently found themselves at odds within the world of Arc Raiders, leading to a conflict that quickly spilled beyond the Embark Studios game, resulting in a YouTube ban and even a police report.

The initial incident occurred when NessieDoes, playing alongside a friend, entered a match with Peach. They decided to play a joke on her: they falsely claimed a bug had trapped his friend in a texture and invited Peach to come help. As soon as Peach entered the designated building, she was immediately killed. Taking the situation deeply to heart, Peach responded by sending an insulting message to the killer’s Steam profile and reported NessieDoes within the game.

Later, NessieDoes himself visited Peach’s live stream and typed “GG” (Good Game) in chat. These two simple letters only served to escalate her anger.

Coincidentally, just a few days later, NessieDoes and Peach encountered each other again in Arc Raiders. When Peach was killed once more, she urged her audience to report all of NessieDoes’s accounts. Following this, Peach contacted Embark Studios and successfully lobbied for a 30-day ban for NessieDoes, citing “harassment” as the reason.

In response, NessieDoes released a video explaining his side of the story, asserting that these encounters with Peach were purely coincidental and not a deliberate act of harassment.

Although NessieDoes managed to get his game ban lifted, Peach then issued a strike against his explanatory video on YouTube, claiming it promoted hatred. To dispute this YouTube strike, NessieDoes was required to reveal his personal information. Peach allegedly used this information to file a police report, accusing NessieDoes of stream sniping and compromising her online safety.
