Long-time fans of the Resident Evil series have expressed their desire for a remake of the cult classic Code: Veronica for many years.

Rumors of a potential Code: Veronica update have circulated for years, and many fans are convinced that Capcom is indeed considering its development.

A recent update for Resident Evil Requiem, which introduced a photo mode, has allowed players to uncover what they believe is a hidden reference to Code: Veronica.

Upon closer inspection of the registration book’s guest list, the name “Veronica” can be seen. Furthermore, she was registered in room “303” — a number that some fans interpret as a nod to Code: Veronica being the true third installment of the franchise.

Another Easter egg in the book is Alyssa Ashcroft, listed as the ninth entry, which corresponds to the installment number of this particular game (Resident Evil Requiem) in the series.
